Chorizo, Prawn & Halloumi Medley

Chorizo ingredients

Dear friend,

Had a chorizo and halloumi skewer at some restaurant and loved the combo; so I thought I’d add prawns & peppers and make it into a thing. Only 4 ingredients, under £5 (providing you already have a pepper), serves 4+, cooks in 15, and can be eaten in many ways.

Portions: serves 4+

Prep time: 15 mins                        Cook time: 15 mins                       Total time: 30 mins

What you will need:

  • Deep frying pan/wok
  • Large [chef’s] knife

Ingredients:

  • 200g chorizo (diced)
  • 1 red pepper (diced) (2 if you prefer)
  • 225g halloumi (diced)
  • 150g king prawns/1 pack (chopped)

Lets go…

  1. Place pan on medium heat
  2. Prepare all ingredients
  3. Add chorizo into the pan and stir for 2 minutes
  4. Add peppers to the chorizo and stir for 2 minutes
  5. Add halloumi and prawns and stir occasionally for 11 minutes. Recipe done!

Ways to enjoy this dish:

  • On it’s own
  • With sweet potato
  • With salad
  • In an omelette
