Don’t hate me looool – I know porridge is the easiest thing in the world to make. I just wanted to show you 2 things I added to mine to take it from a 2/10 breakfast to a solid 10. Bare in mind I don’t really like coconut or peanut butter, I was so surprised at how addicted to this I got. At one point, I was eating porridge twice a day and was buying a new pot of this butter every fortnight! We all like our porridge consistency different (some don’t like it at all LOL) but I’ll note the oat : milk ratio I use just so you can see how I make mine.
P.s. I never eat fruit with my porridge, this was purely for show loool.
Portions: serves 1
- 40g porridge
- 175-200ml semi-skimmed milk
- 1 tbsp Meridian Coconut & Peanut Butter
- 1 tbsp honey
For those on slimming world, the porridge alone counts as your healthy A + B choice, one tbsp of the butter is 4.5 syns, and one tbsp of honey is 2.5 making this a total of 7 syns.
