My name is Loré, I’m 20 years of age, currently studying Public Relations at Edge Hill University, and my friend can’t cook. She started her first year of university last September and didn’t want to live off of frozen foods and Chinese takeaways (and she certainly didn’t want to starve).
So being the amazing friend that I am, I’ve decided to make life a little easier for her by sending her simple recipes to keep her alive during her 3 years away. She’s a first time chef so I won’t be asking her to baste and braise. However, being the daughter of a chef, it’s not in my blood to create boring/tasteless meals (I like to respect my insides).
I am fully aware she is a student so every meal will be budgeted. I also hate reading paragraphs so I promise not to bombard her with essays. Though these recipes are for her, you are welcome to join us on this journey of food discovery and burnt fingers. Feel free to try out these concoctions yourself- all recipes and images are 100% mine, though inspiration may come from external sources.
P.s. I hate mushrooms, avocado, raw tomatoes, pickles, mustard and some other stuff I can’t think of now.
I also don’t like to write negative posts as I feel it’s a waste of energy and can be unnecessary.
